New Windows & Water Heater

I know the combination of new windows and a water heater is not the norm. But one week after my new windows were installed, I came home to the sound of water running in the garage. Luckily, the water heater is in the garage. More on that in a minute.
Here is a picture of the "before" of the front of the house. It was morning and sunny so it's kind of shadowed.
Here is a close up of the front windows. Before.During....After.Before of one of the bedroom windows.and after. And a new patio door. The old one was so wrong I am surprised it lasted as long as it did. The old door (or should I say doors) was a sliding door then another sliding door right behind it. This fact bewildered everyone that came to look at my windows, no one had ever seen such a sight. But no more a pretty white new one now stands in their place. Here is the house with the new windows and storm door on the front. Before we get to the water heater, I bought a cool old record player/ radio cabinet to put my tv on. Bonus! it fit in my car to take it home.
I absolutely love it. It goes really well in my house.
The before of the really old water heater. I only hope the new heater lasts 20 years like this one did.
Unfortunately, it was really cold in the garage that night. My Dad brother, David came to help install the heater. The new one was really heavy and hard to hold on to with gloves.

David is wondering how he always get himself involved in these projects of mine. It's because he loves his sister and the free meal that came with helping (free food is the real reason).
Getting ready to sweat the joints. That involves a propane torch, and with David always wanting to play with fire that was right up his alley.
Finishing touches.
Hot water in December is nothing to take for granted.
