All Hands on Deck, and NEW APPLIANCES!

Ok now that things are beginning to look like I am actually home. It was "all hands on deck" one Saturday trying to get things done.

This is the "poop deck". Not a great way to scrub the toilet. But is was already outside and needed cleaned before I was to let in inside. So, my mother took the job. What a awesome mother.
David was installing baseboards in the little bathroom.
All tuckered out. He gave me a full days work. I could not have done without his help. He is a great worker and an even greater brother. Thanks, David I love you.
APPLIANCES COMING OFF THE TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!
Range is coming in the door.
And now in place!
Easy does it. These guys were great. They took their time and did it right the first time. Telling the world about Hahn Appliance great place go check it out.
Would you take a gander at the height of the guys. These are the descendants of Goliath. that guy is standing on the floor and looking at the top of the refrigerator. WOW!
Dishwasher almost in. No, it is not green.
All finished.
The very first item in the fridge. David's Dr. Pepper.

New Ceiling Fan Installation

The is the base for my new living room ceiling fan. I did the installation my self. It is not as easy as you might expect. Working over your head, on a ladder in not the best way I work. But I got the job done.

See I am using tools.

This one shows off my "popeye" elbow bones. Thanks, Dad.

All done. Well, almost I had to order the blades and they hadn't come it yet, but now they are in and up and they look great.

This tree is coming up voluntary and I am not sure if I am going to keep it but just for now I am. So we (me and my friend Corlene) gave it a much need trim "high and tight".

This tree was going to be saved but then we got carried away and took it out anyway. OOPS! But not really because I didn't know how to transplant a tree.
This is a Yucca. It likes to poke you. I don't know why it looks like it is dying but it's still in there. Looking all funny.
Side view of the bed. After all the hard work was done. Check the following pics.
This tree was also growing where it shouldn't have been so armed with a shovel and long handled knippers we hacked away at it until it was out. We needed a video of the project we surely would have won something with the way we take out trees.
This is a smaller tree that came out first and was rather easy. We thought we were big stuff when we got this little one out.
Ahhh! the clean up part. Watch out! That is a garden rake, not a yard rake. It digs in the ground real good and almost pulls you to the ground when it gets stuck.

Stuff In, Stuff Out, Tile, Shower, First Meal, Flowers

Here is a lot of new things and some firsts. Here are the newly painted closet doors.

New Front door.
Toilet out side for bathroom repair. So far, still out there.
My stuff is finally in the house.

Bead board in the little bathroom.
NEW KITCHEN TILE!!!!!
NOW WITH GROUT!!!
LITTLE BATHROOM TILE! So Do you like it?

I hooked up my TV and turned it on and what do you know but the President was on. Not impressed. But still cool to have my own TV to watch.
Then I replaced the shower head with the one below.
But when I went to turn it on the shower control came off in my hand. Water came spewing out of the hole where the knob used to be. Talk about surprising water was going everywhere.
As you can see it is fixed now but I really need new handles.
Now on to the first home cooked meal. I made microwaveable mac - n - cheese. What an accomplishment especially with no refrigerator or stove.
Here it is. Then I had to wash it in the bathroom sink.
Ok here is the furniture in the red room wall. I don't know yet if this is how I want it to stay but at least the bed is put together.

This is the first rose in my rose bush in the front yard.

Hopefully, the countertops will be here soon. I have already ordered the appliances. They will be installed after the countertops.
